THE Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit in collaboration with the House Breaking and Car Theft Unit, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Thursday crippled a gambling session at a house in Kampong Masin.
Ten suspects, all Bangladeshi nationals aged between 30 and 50, were detained in the raid.
The card gambling game ‘29’ was being carried out during the time of the bust. Police personnel found two sets of cards and cash believed to be use for gambling.
All suspects and evidence were brought back to the department for further investigation. The case is being investigated under the Common Gambling Houses Act Chapter 28.
