Penampang police chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim said the suspect was detained by police following a police report lodged by the victim.
“According to the police report, the incident allegedly happened when the secondary male student felt someone was touching his private parts while he was taking a nap at the religious centre around 1.30pm on Sunday (Aug 4).
“The victim immediately left the religious centre and lodged a police report at the Penampang police headquarters the following day,” said Haris.
