KUALA LUMPUR • A RM30 million (S$9.9 million) walkway being built between downtown Kuala Lumpur and the capital’s biggest Malay enclave of Kampung Baru underscores the chasm between the two, which the Malaysian government wants to bridge.

The two areas – located across the Klang river from each other – are worlds apart in character and, in turn, property prices.
